One of our daughters with her husband and 3 boys live in SoCal. She says after all of the storms there are potholes everywhere. The wheel and axle breaking kind of pothole. And there are more atmospheric rivers on the way. More mudslides to come
I can’t prove it, but I suspect the auto repair shops in the Quad Cities have a kickback deal with the city councils – the plethora of potholes has without a doubt fattened the pockets of repair shops for shocks, tires, suspension, alignment, etc.!
Exactly. Trump and the Trumpublicans teed up as many problems as they could and then left in a snit. Something about actually losing an election. Infrastructure solutions take time to get started. People who live in the real world and have real jobs know all this.
That seems to be a pretty accurate depiction of some of the streets around here! It’s been a rough winter, with all the freeze/thaw cycles that we’ve already been through.
Right now you can’t blame anyone for the pot holes unless nothing happens this summer to fix them. The weather we’ve had has done a number across this county on roads.
Joe Heller leaves us all to guess what his point is. OK, I’ll bite. Wasted money from mega-spending bills that should have been spent on infrastructure?
