I have more than that. Shave once a week.

The Miami Vice look,

Wife won’t kiss if I have stubble.

A typical plugger doesn’t want to bother keeping up a well-trimmed beard.

That’s what pluggers do. They just plug stuff in for convenience sake.

On Plugger males, it’s usually The Jed Clampett Look.

Now that some bear’d he gots there.

Some days I shave … Some days I Don’t …

I trim my goatee once a week and shave every other day ever since I retired. I figured after shaving everyday, sometimes twice a day, I deserved a break.

If I can arrange my schedule thusly.

That’s the current 30 something “manly” look.

With a beard as white as my head hair, it can be several days before that stubble really begins to show.

If you can afford an expensive electric razor, you can keep that exactly-three-day-old stubble look for the rest of your life. In my experience, women don’t enjoy it. But, who cares? RIght?

Afraid to say I’m extremely guilty of this myself haha.

I had hopes some stubble might act like Velcro to keep my pandemic masks in place. Not so much.

The three-day-stubble look IS what passes for a “fashionable, carefully-trimmed beard” these days. If pluggers really choose it, then they are fashionable and the world is coming to an end.

I haven’t shaved any since I retired 3 years ago, but do an occasional trim.

A most debonair look if I do say so myself….

This is reason #1 why I never liked Don Johnson. I always thought his stubble always reminded me of a scruffy, slobby old man. Shave it or grow a beard, dude!

As I tell my son, shave or grow a beard but quit looking like a bum.

Takes me about a week to get up a good face full of stubble.

I hit every other day, until the weekend, then that’s two-dayer.

Husband shaves daily. He says it is not comfortable not to do so.
