We were having this conversation last weekend about making guacamole. We decided that the perfect ripeness of an avocado is about a 12-minute window.

So glad that I am not an avocado fan.

When you put it this way I’m surprised avocado is so popular.

Thank you for the reminder. Ready or not, I’m going to put one to use for lunch today. Likely hidden in an immense salad. Its a clean out the fridge Snow Day.

I can’t stand avocados. The taste and texture is vile. When I order Mexican food, I tell them to leave it off, along with any sour cream. Both make me gag.

I don’t eat avocados, but I am picky about bananas
