Usually the better you are trained at a martial art, the better you are at not having to use it … and if you have to use it better able to not severely harm or do damage.
When I was pretty young …… a purse snatcher thought he would steal my Mother’s handbag (She had one that had a shoulder strap and carried everything but the kitchen sink …. not sure that it wasn’t in there) …….. “WRONG” ….. he grabbed it and she held onto it and turned him right into a store wall ….. knocked him onto the ground and within a few seconds, he was detained and the police got him …… hadn’t thought of that for years ……. :)
