I’m not entirely certain what to make of this. My guess is that Mr. Adams doesn’t need the money.
In case anyone’s interested, I think Mr. Adams claims that what he was really trying to do was to talk about how racism is framed in the media and how that is driving division in this country. That point’s a little hard to discern in either his initial comments or what he’s said since.
Great characters from Dilbert like Wally will be missed. Too bad Scott Adams outed himself as a racist. He says he wanted to shake the box when he made his controversial remarks but he said he didn’t realize how hard he shook it and now Dilbert is no more
I think it is possible to find reasons to cancel anyone. Example Coca-Cola owns Fanta which was created (and loved) by Nazis — so Coca-Cola in turn supports the Nazi agenda. BTW Fanta really is an awesome soda. Krups coffee maker — they supported the Nazis — and so on and so on.
I thought Candorville was removed from comics for taking broadsides at Dilbert but that parody run ended a week ago and it’s on another site.Personal decision I guess.
Is this Weingarten, Weingarten, and Clark’s way of subtly showing support for Scott Adams, by having one of their own characters give money to one of Adams’ characters?
Do you know what happened in Nazi Germany in the late 1930’s and early 1940’s if you spoke against society in general or in particular, or espoused thoughts/ideas/beliefs that were not accepted by that society in general or in particular?
You were excised from that society – you lost your job, no one would associate with you, you were tagged by the government, and maybe arrested and imprisoned.

It’s fun to see Wally anyway. Adams screwed up but we’re being punished.

Sigh. I miss Dilbert already… yeah, we’re being punished.

Adams, it seems, is self-unemployed.

It’s hard to imagine how someone of such obvious intelligence and a student of the human condition could say such things out loud.

Fooled me for a moment until I realized it was the secretary from Barney and Clyde passing thru the old set of Dilbert.

It’s interesting that now Adams has put “Dilbert” behind a Pay-Wall…

Adams and Bill Cosby visit Harvey Weinstein every Tuesday.

Can someone explain that comment to me? Did the author of Dilbert do something to get his strip suspended?

Nazis were mentioned a lot in these comments.
