A cold nose is the sign of a healthy dog…..

So right about a cold nose even more so than cold feet.

And being sent straight to the basement.

Mine turns around and starts smacking me in the face with his tail until I wake up lol!

Now Buckles, that’s something Garfield would have done!

I usually get the cold nose in my ear.

My Tuptim (cat) liked to crawl under the covers and press 4 cold feet to my stomach; rude.

I don’t mind the cold nose. I do mind waking up to the pre-horking gag. Luckily my current dog has rarely done that and I keep a towel near the bed, and this is my first pet, cat or dog, that actually allows me to hold her head gently over a towel as she horks up whatever. This has happened twice in 6 years, so no complaint. I didn’t even mind the time I woke up with cold feet and realized she was lying on my feet and must have peed in a dream as she hadn’t moved and was still sleeping in the same place. I just moved my feet, went back to sleep, and stripped and washed the bedding in the morning. She looked a little sheepish. I was somewhat amused.

My 9 kg cat just sits on my chest untill I’m compelled to choose between getting up or suffocation.

Or anywhere else for that matter.
