Learning something new here every day: ‘cause I thought even the old TVs didn’t have enough space for Garf to lie on it, not to mention these extremely flat new ones…
We’ve not seen Garfield laying on top of the TV in a long time, but with how TV’s are made nowadays, wouldn’t that TV be too small and skinny to support Garfield’s weight?
If you’re wondering how he manages to get so comfortable atop a flat screen TV, maybe the TV is close enough to the wall that the wall is helping to keep him propped up. Or maybe he’s just been taking lessons from Snoopy.
Or it could just be that it’s one of the advantages of living in a two-dimensional universe.

My Nadia used take up this position while we watched hockey together. She’d have made a great goalie!

More than 20 years ago, when CRTs were the norm for displays, our smallest cat would get on top, knocking my Opus doll off and catch some Zs…

One thing that last panel did was to put in this sentence:
“Heeeeeeeeeeeey KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDS!”
I loved the Garfield cartoon growing up.

Jon needs to get a new TV. My new TV is so thin a cat would neuter itself if it tried doing that.

The TV must be muted if Garfield is able to sleep with Binky on air.

Any action that covers up a clown (or at least attempts to do so) can arguably be defined as a great public service.
Otis Rufus Driftwood about 1 year ago
Didn’t think cats could do that anymore with flat screens.

My snowshoe Casey used to lay on my old VGA monitor. Years later, he would sleep on the cable box. Then he barfed in it and we had to get a new box.
