Celebrating diversity is not education- it is indoctrination. Black history should be part of the core history curriculum or be an elective. A Jewish boss told I must watch a holocaust documentary. I told him that had nothing to do with my job and I saw no reason to subject myself to despair. DeSantis is wildly popular in Florida, but I am not sure it translates to national appeal.

Ron DeSantis retaliates against Florida venue that hosted drag show in December

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis® has moved to retaliate against an Orlando-based performing arts venue in his state that recently hosted a drag show back in December of last year. According to HuffPost, the Republican governor’s move came after a 27-page complaint was filed by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The complaint accused the Orlando Philharmonic Plaza Foundation of violating Florida state law by “knowingly” welcoming attendees under the age of 18 to watch a show called “A Drag Queen Christmas.”

He may be popular with the racists, white supremacists and rednecks in Florida, however on the national stage he needs the Black vote,the Jewish vote and the Senior Citizen vote plus the Hispanic vote! He will lose if he runs for President!
