    A better conversation.

Biden: “Anything I should know about the M-1 tanks?”

Eisenhower: "Yes, they are designed to support defending American interests, not the military industrial complex. They should NEVER be deployed to support he globalist elite and deepen American foreign entanglements (go ask Washington about that).

Biden: “Can I use them in Ukraine after I received payouts through Hunter from the local oligarchs there?”

Eisenhower: “Just a minute Joe. (picks up phone) Hello, impeachment hotline?”

Even at $6 a dozen for extra large ($.50 each) , two eggs makes a decent sized breakfast for $1.

Tanks a lot. Wars are won in the will.

Russia [obviously] has the industrial capacity to manufacture an almost unlimited supply of tanks, planes, and missiles…

just like they did in Afghanistan, just like we did in Vietnam & Iraq, just like the British in Ireland.

Ukrainians will probably never give up - with or without us - and with the West’s support the probably becomes definitely.

Eggs is eggs. Tanks are tanks. Find the cost of freedom.

There is a minor delay while they remove the uranium armor and replace it with tungsten.

We’re not training raw recruits. These guys are real world, experienced combat veterans.

Most maintenance done on the most technical parts of nearly ALL US Army equipment is done by Box-Swappers. The contractor comes in, runs a test, yanks the bad box out, puts the replacement in, runs another test and then charges the US Army a couple of 100 thousand. It will be the same in the Ukraine, except the charge will be more in the seven figure area.

No doubt the Ukrainians already have a supply system in place. This is just adding another layer into an already existing network. Another, complicated layer, yes.

We should NEVER not do something because it is difficult. Especially when it needs to be done.

Ukrainians in M-1’s could very likely push the Russians back to where they came from. The Russians don’t have what they need to get the job done.

It is good that we are doing this NOW, rather than after the Ukrainians win without the Abrams and then we give them to them anyway. This way we can play it like, “Hey, WE gave them the game changer, ain’t we great?!”

FreeOfBrain’s comment is just hilarious. I worked on the XM-1 tank back in the 1970s. The whole point was to have a Main Battle Tank that could help impede or stop the Soviet invasion of the West, (Subsequent history has shown that the M-1 chewed up those older Russian tanks that were in field in the mid-70s)

The “No Foreign Entanglements” ship sank long ago. Torpedoed by the Monroe Doctrine, which worked only because Britain agreed with the idea, for their own reasons.

I’m all for defending Ukraine from Ruzzia, but never forget that while there’s money to be made doing good, there are those ready to help. Or as Smedley Butler wrote, War is a Racket. Ukraine will be buying weapons from the West from now on, once their economy rebuilds.
