I do like the way they inserted a Michael crash test dummy in the car for panel 3. I didn’t think Michael did his own stunts.

Arghhh

This is bad enough when it’s your car but as a pedestrian I used to get splashed like this all the time as I was walking. It’s maddening!

Some days, you just can’t win. :P

Cartoon physics. Makes me wonder how the red car can splash him with road mud when its tires are actually floating in the air up off of the ground?

Moral of this story, when you have borrowed your mom’s car, always ask to get a dated, printed receipt from the car wash!

I live in the country, on a mountain, on a dirt road.

Even when I wash the car it does not stay clean. Ever lol!

If you don’t get splattered after a car-wash. You will get bird droppings instead. Particularly on the windshield, at drivers side, at eye level.

The roads in Milborough must be worse than the roads in Michigan..

I hope Michael got a receipt with today’s date for the car wash so his mom will believe his story.

Why even bother washing a car? Just let it set in the rain!!

Lesson learned here: never do something nice for your mother.

Some days are no win, pray that tomorrow will improve. Especially for those of us driving white/black trucks, everything shows!

And what about that gas tank that’s almost empty???

Actually, the LEAST he could have done was just return the car. Which he did. The SECOND least thing would be to return it undamaged. Which, again, it appears he did. The least POLITE thing to do is to return it with more gas than when he borrowed it. any expectation beyond that is totally unreasonable.

I don’t bother washing the car until the puddles dry up.

Ahhh, Springtime in northern climes. I refer to it as wet sock weather. There’s a murky puddle waiting for you.

Washing the car is a fool’s errand when one lives along a gravel road.

Never wash a car when the roads are wet…

At least the windows were rolled up, not like on his first date with Rhetta!

Any time I feel like I miss 1972 (which is almost never), I can always count on the pontificating hippie here to remind me why that is the case.

Not sure if they have Delta Sonics in Canada. If your car gets dirty again within five days, you can get it washed again for free. You just have to make sure you have your receipt.

Might as well go back to Auto Kleen yet again, Michael.

You can’t blame Mike for being permanently allergic to car washes.
