What, Marmaduke’s not getting under the bed covers to keep warm! I think marmaduke may have another reason for the fire, like his poodle girlfriend coming over and he wants a nice fire for the atmosphere. Yip yip yip yip yip

Is that leftover Christmas glitz on the fireplace or is it so cold there is actual ICE forming on the brickwork? Marm is being exceptionally polite, I’d say. Mr. Winslow has nothing to be so angry about. Think of the children, if not the family dog.

Marm knows exactly how much wood to bring in and when to bring it. He’s a master at log rhythms.
