Boys – YOU invited Tiffany to stay with you. We readers don’t even know whether Irma and AL know Tiffany has been staying in their guesthouse. NOW you go to them to give Tiff a boot. Grow some cojones and do it yourselves. I am surprised Bets agreed to having Irma and AL get involved…SHE has the cojones to give Tiff her walking papers. No need for Bets to go to Irma and AL. She can handle Tiff.
These guys are not smart at all. There is no evidence that they have ever told Mr and Mrs Grey that Tiffany has been living with them for the past month and some I imagine that Mr. Grey and maybe Irma as well are going to explode with outrage over this deceitful and immoral activity. Far from getting Tiffany kicked out they may find themselves kicked out!
If Bets does an about face when she hears that the annoying dinner is to get rid of Tiff, perhaps the BeGun relationship is not as solid as some think. And Tiff is not even staying in Gunther’s room.
Bets don’t have hesitations. It’s not clear whether it’s out of jealousy or because Tiffany is using two friends, but even for her it’s wrong that she continues to live there. They all agree that talking to Al and Irma is the best thing to do. Dinner will certainly be interesting. But they could bring the pizza with them and eat it together!
Bets is only being honest and direct to the point, it is an annoying change of plans. Look at the story up to now. Les cuts to the chase, nic, direct Les. Discussing Tiffany’s boarding at the Gulag, when she and Gunther were rather brutally turned down when Bets and Gunther asked if she could move in. Tiffany could just come in, engender sympathy, take total advantage of the boys, and now is using them like two dumb tools while she does not confront her issue of where to stay. She has a mansion, or she could learn to live in the dorm like the other characters are. No, it’s not at all surprising she might want to join this conversation. Follow the story; Gunther’s mild question is just a misdirection play.
I like Gunther’s step dad. He reminds me of a quiet but very competent character from The Sopranos , “Yes, we gotta give Tony his kickback. But, first we gotta bury the body under the foundation.”
Ann Eiffel has been called many things but annoying isn’t one of them. Eat your hearts out, haters. Ann Eiffel is screaming hawt and you know it. We ❤️ Ann Eiffel!
Hit the road Tiff, and don’t’cha come back no more no more no more no more, as in Hit the Road Jack, as performed by Ray Charles:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8Tiz6INF7I
This is like watching an impeding railroad grade road-crossing accident.
Instead of getting out and away from the stuck vehicle, or if possible, calling the 800 number posted on each RR crossing to notify the train dispatcher that your vehicle is stuck on that crossing, you INSTEAD stand around frantically waving your hands in the air screaming while some other guy videos the train plowing into what used to be your Nissan, for social media.
That said, Bets Knows Tiffany’s has been staying at the Gulag.
If Al and Irma didn’t know Tiffany had been staying there, they are ABOUT to KNOW.
Dinner at Al and Irma’s will never be the same after this week.
I wish they’d let Tiffany grow. Just when you think she’s become a more complex sympathetic character, she goes right back to being nothing by a shallow, materialistic user. And somehow using her looks to manipulate men and never having a boyfriend at the same time.
By the way, which are the two annoying’s? Tiffany or dinner with the parents? Or dinner with the parents as opposed to watching Wolf Pack, scaring down pizza. Very interested in replies on this.
Hmm — this actually could work out well. Your landlord can’t fix this problem for your, since removing a subletter is your problem, but your mother and your uncle can give you solid advice about how to do it.
The pizza looks to be a small hardly sufficient for 3. Going by yesterday’s strip the bachelor pad looks to be in the backyard and at most 100’ from the main house with no fence between them. Likely Tiffany’s car would be parked in the driveway of the main house. It has been established that we are in January as classes(writing class) have begun so if the missing ring/broken window arc was in September then it has been 5 monthsof Tiffany crashing there. Dad was not home all summer so that means he has been gone 9+ months.
I hate how Bets is supporting them being wimps. They should tell Tiffany to her face themselves, not go running to Irma and Al to tell on her. Yeah, Tiffany is taking advantage at this point but I get the impression Tiff’s rationalizing it cause they’re not showing any signs TO HER that they’re not fine with it. Also, that “annoying” remark was pointed. Even Gunther can tell Bets has an issue with his parents given his dejected response. Back-handed snipes about your partner’s family? Not a good look.
Panel 2: Gunther questions Bets description of his parents as annoying? Tiffany thought Al and Irma were delightful during her dinner with them and the boys.
Two days in a row when Gunther and Les agree! Hmmm. If I remember correctly, at the last dinner with Al and Irma, Irma liked Tiffany. She may be sympathetic. Al may want to collect rent. What Bets can offer to the situation, I don’t know, other than stir the pot of discontent!
I hope Al and Irma tell those three to pound sand and they return to find Tiffany relaxing with the pizza they “got for her”. Thanks guys! You’re the best friends a girl could have!
I suppose that there is a way to look at this arc and see the hilarity (as 1212 often says) of it, but it is at a very surface level.
Problem is that most all of the commenters are long-time readers and fans. Thus we all have individual opinions of the characters and the events that brought then to this point.
Both Gunther and Les have history with Tiffany and have been able to hold a rational discussion with her. It is difficult, at this point, to understand why they are all quaking in their boots about reclaiming their space.
I mean really!? You’d think Tiff is the personification of Ann Eiffel, herself!
In my opinion, the best comment on how this should have been handled was made by Asharah: “Guy’s just TELL Tiffany Irma & Al say she has to leave now that she’s recovered.”Running to Al and Irma could backfire in so many ways. Should be hilarious. The best part of this arc is how Tiffany is shown: Greg has allowed her to grow after what happened with Ann Eiffel. She started a business, then got a job as a waitress. She dealt with the issues that caused her to gain weight. She got serious about college. She allowed Dez to lead her into healing the relations with Stef. Unfortunately she reverts to who she was in high school when her arm got damaged and we see her self-centered self again.
It’s unclear to me exactly what Bets means by her comment. . But I’m thinking that she’s saying the change of plans is annoying, not necessarily that Irma and All are annoying.

Not smart, Bets! Essentially calling Gunther’s mom annoying won’t sit well with him.
I still can’t believe they’re bring in Irma and Al and not handling things with Tiff by themselves. I think it’s a cowardly move.
Has anyone else been having issues with this site? My thread was deleted a few hours ago, and I heard about 20 others were, as well.
