Still, you would think that the minute Trump’s documents were found, Biden would have had his people check on his own documents (quietly). It would have been the prudent thing to do. Someone in his administration should have thought of that. Of course, the only thing on the minds of many republicans is revenge, not what they can do for their constituents.

Seems quite apparent that American “secret” documents are handled rather badly.

The GOP may be covering for Trump, but the Dems want to ditch Joe.

And crazy Trump said he declassified them with his mind!

Republicans know much of their base doesn’t get past the headlines.

Nobody was looking for the documents Biden had. My understanding is they mark many documents “classified” out of an abundance of caution when they don’t need to be. Plus Biden’s were in a garage next to his Corvette, and no one is getting near his Corvette.

In or about 1965, when I was in the Navy, I’d finished an operation/maintenance training class – in Dam Neck, Virginia – on a computer device that was classified “Secret." I packed up my books and notes – put them in my seabag – and went to the base bus stop to start the return to my ship. My waiting was interrupted when my instructor and two armed marines showed up to detain me. They explained that I wasn’t allowed to remove classified material from the classroom – it would be packed up and sent by something called “guardmail” to my ship, and thereafter returned to me. So I gave them my books and notes – we shook hands – they left – and I continued my journey – after I went to the men’s room!

I write this because sometimes bad things happen innocently – there was no malicious intent on my part – and when apprised of it, I immediately apologized and returned the materials. I didn’t scream ’witch hunt" and contact my lawyers and the media.

I am, however, so-o-o happy they caught me before I got on that bus or I’m convinced I would be writing this from the brig . . .

Nobody, even Biden, knew about them being missing or being there. Brings me to two questions. How important are they really? And nobody knows if any are missing.

Not knowing that they are in your own garage as opposed to locking them in a safe with a second lock at the behest of the FBI.

Oh, c’mon, Phil. Not all of the papers Trump had were “Classified”. Those were mixed with wrappers from cheeseburgers, among other “documents”.
