Some birds that fly into windows are attention-seekers.

Had a Cardinal one spring that kept attacking one window in the house, even when we put items behind it to hopefully discourage. And was attacking the driver sideview mirror on our car. Would find blood on both. Eventually stopped, but not sure if it moved on or passed away.
