Someone probably told her to get the H out of there.

And her name is Wren… who pronounces the “W”?

A yes, the bobbed name from the ones learning to talk. Can be unsettling but also can become nicknames.

When my husband’s grandson was learning to speak, he couldn’t say any initial consonants. So instead of Grampy & Joyce, we were Ampie & Oyce. For a while, I thought those monikers might stick.

So sweet.

I have the opposite problem. I’m a New Englander but have never dropped an “R” in my life. I’ve never “pahked the cah in Hahvahd Yahd”. LOL

Hammie, H’s are usually a gift they get for their 2nd birthday.

Now she has a British accent.

Kids are so adorable at that “H”!!

Are the writers out of new material already?

’allo, ’allo was one of my favorite Britcoms. The French must have same problem as Wren, non?

Try this one, Wren: “In Hartford, Hereford, and Hampshire, hurricanes hardly happen!”

Think she’s deliberately messing with him?

Give her time Hammie, she’ll get it.

No H comes out of her, but her diaper is full of P and S.

She can have my H’s I dont’ use them much…

Maybe she is French and thinks you’re her friend.

Get her on the Honor List. She won’t need that “h”.

My cousin had a hard time with the letter S as he was growing up and nobody could understand why so he was sent to a speech thereapist and here the discovered he needed tubes in his ears because he was always getting ear infections. As soon as he started wearing them he didn’t have a problem with letter S anymore. This was over 40 years ago so I can’t remember the connection but I do remever he and his parents were so frustrated that he had such a hard time.

Um, while we are on the topic…“Hammie?”

First…ALL of the kids have “odd” names. So, Ammie isn’t any weirder than his real name.
