Of course. It would be obvious that Dakota would check everything. Phoebe has already been a goblin at some point, so no new experience for her. Hmm, Dakota wasn’t kidding when she said this goblin was different. Now up to the long, reading task. Maybe the book will have pictures?

Well moldy cheese would be easy because perhaps Dakota ate some by accident once.

As for moldy socks, that would be a little harder.

I imagine very bitter and smelly like old sweat.

Never smelled moldy cheese though.

Maybe their mouths just make different saliva and odors than as humans.

When Phoebe ate that scarf in the last book I was thinking how and what happened to it in her stomach when she turned back into a human.

Realistically it couldn’t be digested and would make her sick if not causing an intestinal blockage.

Unless it disappeared from her body when she turned back into a human??.

that was the first real instance of a cartoon scenario where no actual harm came to Phoebe from doing something hugely unnatural.
