What’s sleep? The opposite of coffee…

The only thing scarier than a toddler (kitten, er, very small cat) who claims, “I’m not tired,” is one who truly isn’t.

Reminds me of when Sara and Gracie were still very little. they had been locked in an intense war of kitty fighting. then, unlike Ora, they just shut down. like a switch went off and they were asleep. I have a picture of it somewhere. it looks like they’re hugging as they are sleeping. they were not. LOL

That’s quite a tail poof & shocked face there in panel 2… It’s a tribute to Puck that he can be nurturing even when suddenly awakened!

Floof: She was a tremendous help in the kitchen. Especially after she realized she didn’t have to pound pie dough into submission. I have a special rolling pin and pie plate you can use.

Soph: That would be wonderful.

Floof: My apprentice has prepared a special breakfast of greens for Kara and Vann. And we have bacon and ham and eggs for you.

I love the closeness of Puck and Ora Zella, and I love the photos Georgia posted of the two of them snuggling.

Hey Puck, when you figure out how to explain what sleep is to Ora Zella, please explain it to Holmes.

Very cute! I look forward to Tommy officially meeting the new kittens, even as we focus again on their inability to sleep. As I said many times as a kid “Is it tomorrow yet?”

I suppose Ora Zella would be a pinball wizard.

Puck is so sweet and patient.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a tiny switch behind our ears that could turn off excess thoughts and allow us to get restful, restoring sleep, like cats are able to at all times (as I struggle to type with Tucker sleeping soundly on my arm)?

Frequently occurring morning convo between me & Former Sig. Other back in the day:

“How’d you sleep?”

“I don’t know. I wasn’t here.”

Ora is too cute for her own good.

I ask that question many nights, myself, since I so infrequently encounter sleep…

Puck: “It’s what you do with the fishes.”

Puck: “Sleep is the thing I do while you attack my tail all night.”

I made the mistake of having a small glass of sweet tea 10.30 a.m. Wed morning and didn’t get a wink of sleep. Sometimes getting older stinks.

Awww some Daddy Daughter time as Puck tries to explain tommy, hyping things up for this clash of the titans. Though given her penchant for gravitating to her oppsite energy wise, it’s likely Sophie she’ll like more, cat help the delicate lady.

Been wondering where those two were. Puck, Goldie, L:upin, and Elvis we’ve been seeing.

Hmm… a kitten who is ignorant of sleep? Some kittens fall asleep while playing.

Love how Pucky is sleeping and next thing you know, fluffy tail and a kitten on top of him. Love her jammies with hearts on them. She knows what sleep is only when she finally runs out of steam.

Ora’s such a cutie, but poor Puck . . . he’s sweet and so gentle with kittens, but he’s definitely not getting any sleep tonight unless Ora wears herself out.
