February comes from the Ancient Roman month Februum meaning “Purification” so all hail February.

It could be worse. I heard that Smarch weather is worse.

It’s hailing, its pouring, Garfield will soon be snoring.

It’s like a game of snowball.

Hail or snow in February can be a normal thing where I live. I am glad that Jim only drew tok and didn’t add tik lol

Hail is a summertime event, usually happens in conjuction with thunderstorms. Something about the temperature variations at different levels. If he’s seeing ice coming down in the winter, it’s probably sleet.

Garfield once described February as being ‘the armpit of the year’.

Poor Garfield. He can’t see the good of February. It’s that much closer to May than January. It’s warmer and down here, in the midlands of SC, it’s sunny and, at 10:30AM, clear with a slight breeze. Of course, that’s as it is right now. Give it a few days or so and it’ll probably be cold, wet and windy. But, that’s life, there no doubt about it.

Wish I could sleep in but there’s this ugly monster called “Bills” that I have to keep feeding with green paper with dead presidents on it in order to keep it satiated

There was combination sleet and freezing rain in my area last week, which led to the ground being frozen everywhere. Not fun.

since when does even need just a TENTH of a strike to “be out and sleep”?

In winter, It sleets, it does not hail!

I wish I could do that.

Given how little snow we’ve gotten this winter in my neck of the woods, I almost wish we’d get some golf ball sized hail. Just to shake things up.

I’m already at work on a snowy day. Wish I could have slept in today.

Next week, it’ll be Monday, February 13.

I don’t need a February or a Monday to stay home.

At least it isn’t Monday, February THIRTEENTH!

Same reasoning my wife and I used when we decided to pull a Garfield this past weekend: It’s Saturday, it’s February, and the temperature is -7°.

Maybe I understand the Monday and the hailing, but now he hates the entire month of February?
