Ah, come on bird. You are just green with envy knowing how many tens of thousands of fans Ziggy has on GoComics!

If Ziggy is looking up like he is in most of the panels here, they would be able to see his nose sticking up above his head.

You think Ziggy has a ridiculous nose? Have you looked in a mirror lately?

Boy can this (cartoon) parrot be nasty! Ziggy takes it from the humans and his pets, poor guy.

If you’re familiar with “the Desiderata” then you should absolutely look up National Lampoon’s Deteriorata. Its comically hilarious and, at the same time, philosophically deep. To quote: “Be assured that a walk through the ocean of most souls would scarcely get your feet wet.”

But you need to familiarize yourself with the Desiderata first.
