Yeah, Grandma, yer frail – and I’m Queen Marie of Rumania.

My 77 year old mother-in-law can out work most 20 year olds.

It’s really annoying how older people put us younger ones to shame being stronger, able to endure so much more.

Evie’s version of “frail” is akin to Obelix’ version of “weak” (revealed when the two Gauls were in Rome to rescue their way-off-key bard Cacofonix. Obelix, after smashing lots of doors finally complained to Asterix of feeling a little weak, which Asterix dismissed. Obelix then broke a third-floor door, but the result could be salvaged–so he then told Asterix “see!”)

She’s about as “frail” as my mom……who takes care of my 3 year old granddaughter!

My guess is that grandma had that bug before and developed antibodies that resisted it.

I work at a TV station recovering from a fire. My job (I’m 27) is, in part, watching air—basically watching TV. A 72-year-old employee crawled under a table to work on wiring, and he probably does more physical work there than I do every day.

My aunt is 91 and will out work several people at a time! She loves to camp and be outdoors and hikes farther than me!

And they say we women are ‘weak’. Ha, ha — very funny!

Perhaps Evie would come to my house and get the 40 lb. box of cat litter out of my car and haul it up 3 flights of stairs to my apt.
