Bah. He wouldn’t be involved in helping to write that document. Always assuming he can actually write…

AND, for those trolls who still want to claim that Agolf Twitler DIDN’T SAY that he wanted to “Terminate” the Constitution:

Seems Buttercup would more likely have an eraser or ink remover. Spill a little coffee on the parts he didn’t like or cut and paste – old style. A manic child at play. And, if he couldn’t do that, he could always take it home and try to flush the whole thing, which he is trying to do nowadays, as a new way to kill time.

Addendum. Seems to me Buttercup’s thinking process resembles the logic in the lyrics of Deteriorata, [National Lampoon, 1972}. But his ego ignores that last sentence. He’ll learn.

If Trump does away with the Constitution so he can declare himself President then all our elected officials must do away with their oath to protect and defend the document and take a new one.

I think the following would meet with his approval , “I swear to you, Donald Trump, as President of the United States, that I will be loyal and brave. I pledge obedience unto death to you and those you appoint to lead. So help me God.”

Drafting the oath was easy. I found a document from the 1930’s that fit very well. All I had to do was replace, “German Reich” with “United States,” “Führer and Chancellor” with “President” and “Adolf Hitler” with “Donald Trump.”

SOME GOP Senators came out to condemn Trump for proposing, yet again, overthrowing the Government.

What we need is a Senate Resolution calling for his condemnation so the senators will have to go on record to vote on it. Let’s see what the “Silent Majority” of Republicans think.

Even some those that condemn state that if Trump were the GOP candidate in 2024 they will still vote for him. So much for the sincerity of their words.

Democrats shouldn’t reflexively now become the party of blind defense of the constitution. It has some areas that need to be modified.

This guy shouldn’t be allowed to run for any elected office, unless it’s in Russia or North Korea. They both like sham elections so he’d fit right in.

‘Dump this loser for good’: Midwest paper challenges GOP lawmakers to finally end Trump’s political story

A newspaper editorial board challenged Republican lawmakers to finally dump Donald Trump after he called for the termination of the U.S. Constitution. The twice-impeached former president raged against the founding document in a lie-filled 2020 election rant on his Truth Social website, and the Kansas City Star editorial board asked GOP lawmakers whether they had finally seen enough.

Republican senator mocks Trump as a ‘RINO’ after advocating for the ‘termination’ of the Constitution

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) borrowed one of Donald Trump’s favorite insults to needle him on Monday after his rant declaring the Constitution of the United States be terminated so he could be president after losing in 2020. “Well, the Republican Party is the Constitution party,” Romney told Capitol Hill reporters, the Huffington Post reported Monday. “So when he calls to suspend the Constitution, he goes from being MAGA to being RINO.”

The Donald, in easily demonstrable fact, was the drafters’ worst nightmare. They tried to forfend the disaster, but it never occurred to them that a whole major party made up of slack-jawed half-wits and moral contortionists would come into office.
