Last update: daughter is feeling okay. Minimum pain, many regrets that she waited so long. Sigh.

I got the tree up , well Son-in-law did, all the decor is out. Now I just have to put a jillion ornaments on the tree, with strict orders not to get on the step ladder, but only as high as I can reach with 2 feet on the ground. SIL is a little nervous I’ll fall and he doesn’t want to be in a hospital for a looong time!

Is nothing of Annie’s safe from these two? She better keep a close eye on those wellies if she doesn’t want to hop all the way home in the rain!

About my latest “garage cat”, well, yesterday morning, I checked to see if the food I had put out on Wednesday night had been eaten. It was all gone and the water in the bowl was frozen. I refilled the food and water bowls. Later, in the afternoon, I looked out my kitchen window, which looks out at my unattached garage. My garage is pretty big – 2 stories. I think it used to be a livery stable back in the 1880’s when the Mazo Hotel stood where my house is now. Anyway, I thought I saw a cat sunning itself in the upstairs window of the garage. That window faces south, so it’s a great napping place for cats. I grabbed my binoculars and got a closer look. Sure enough, the cat who looks like Annie was out there in the window. Probably another dump! I’ll probably have to borrow the trap again that I used for Annie and her kittens and I’ll have myself another cat (hopefully not too feral and hopefully not an unspayed pregnant female). People are GARBAGE when they throw cats away like that!

I just got a Facebook friend request, supposedly from Bob Wharton. Bob died on March 31, 2021. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t him who sent the friend request. Whoever stole his name also stole his picture. I blocked the dirtbag who sent me the request.

‘Hop to it’! That was pretty funny.

I introduced Mr. Vacuum to the kittens and mama this morning. They all took it rather well. no more sweeping up litter for me – YAY!

Now, THAT’S funny!

I’m seeing a trip to the loading dock for those two…..especially if the tell her to ‘hop to it’!

Who would buy just one wellie? Maybe someone with a wooden leg. Still, it’s not really a good idea. On another note, saw four varied thrushes while out walking today.
