The first step in treasuring a memory forever, is to live forever.

I never met Methuselah back in the day, so I’d have to say that personally, I’ve never seen anyone better at it that Walt Wallet.

Might have been nice to see a shot or two with Walt and the truck breezing through town and passing homes with trash out to the curb, and not stopping; they’ll go back and pick up the garbage now that Walt has been delivered. With his life complete will he shuffle off this coil now ?

That’s one of the perks of being Mayor. Walt had to get a lot of strings pulled and have a compelling story to get a once in a lifetime ride on a garbage truck. Melba gets to do it anytime she likes.

Mayor Melba should hitch a ride on the back of the garbage truck where Walt was. WHAT A STATEMENT THAT WOULD MAKE !

    From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

I love that Walt’s big garbage truck ride was part of his “bucket list” — that is, the things he wanted to do before he died — but he assures Mayor Melba that he’ll treasure the memory “forever.” Because that’s how long he’ll be alive! He’ll keep aging and aging but never know the sweet release of death! Sorry, Mayor Melba, you’re just a walk-on player in somebody else’s hell.
