The “needy” work on the islands in the middle of the main streets in my town. They never consolidate. I keep lots of ones in the car, give them out when traffic allows. I give two whenever there is a dog as well. It is getting cold now, there should be a better solution for people down on their luck.
They’re already doing this. Visiting Seatle years ago, we got off the ferry and saw a person holding a hand-written sign on a piece of cardboard asking for help because they had “Crones” disease. Came back the next day and in the exact same spot there was a different person holding the very same hand-written sign about having “Crones” disease.
