Women, supporters of women and their rights, the LGBTQ+ community and their supporters, and apparently the rest of the vast majority of Americans believe Republicans are the ones on the wrong track.

Interesting election, 2022. The Democrats said the top issues were abortion (‘reproductive rights’), ensuring voting access, and Jan 6th. Republicans said the top issues were inflation, the border crisis, and crime. They split the vote almost evenly. We don’t even agree on what the issues are.

Yet it’s the republicans who have tied the dead albatross of trump around their own necks. As popular as he is with the MAGAt minority, he’s even more wildly unpopular with the reality based majority of American voters.

Identity politics – Yes this is a problem the left needs to step back and consider how they are making things worse when trying to make things better. But the right are becoming full blown unapologetic racists… so “lesser of two evils” comes into play

Biden Agenda – All politicians have an agenda. That’s how being a politician works. What point are you making?

Crime – What can the POTUS do about crime?

Inflation – The economy is global; everyone is facing inflation. Biden is trying to contain it. He isn’t doing a perfect job, but isn’t doing a horrible job either.

No fossil fuels – Very few democrats are saying that. They are saying less fossil fuels. And I 100% support that. Not a problem

Open borders – Without doubt, the Democrats lack a cohesive plan for dealing with the southern border, but they aren’t promoting “open borders”, a record number of people are being turned away.

Woke – Yeah… being “woke” is a problem. It is a dogmatic approach to cultural norms without any critical thought. Life is complex, morality is complex, ethics are complex… many of the “woke” viewpoints are rigid and aggressive to anyone who wants to look at things more critically. BUT the right is just as bad with their own conservative dogmatic approach to their own cultural norms.

The GOP couldn’t dole out a drubbing of the party in power that typically happens in midterm elections. Draw what you want Lisa, but that says everything about their sign-reading skills.

“Woke” as opposed to asleep. Speaking of asleep, the Dems want to move away from fossil fuels while the Repubs just want to continue to get money from Exxon, etc. The “open borders” claims are ridiculous and debunked.; Repubs refer to how many more were CAUGHT. Inflation is global and the U.S. dollar is stronger than most other currencies. If you look up “identity politics” it is what Repubs are doing by pushing their racist agenda; the Dems have a HUGE tent with a lot of diversity, which us the opposite of “identity politics”. Violent crime and the murder rates are HIGHER is red states – the typical rebuttal is that the cities are Dem, but the Repubs report numbers without factoring in “per percentage of the population” – you know, they’re LYING again. Biden agenda is for the people, especially middle and lower income people while the Repub agenda is for themselves and the wealthy.

The Repub agenda is being led by people like Rick Scott that wants to reduce or eliminate Social Security and Medicare while cutting taxes for the wealthy like they did in 2017 when the debt and deficit BALLOONED and trillions were added. Companies bought back stock, inflating the stock market while doing nothing for their employees or the longterm health of their companies. This resulted in companies and the country having a harder time dealing with the pandemic.

I know that the left isn’t always right, but the right is nearly always wrong. And right wrong politicians are much more malicious and evil in their dishonesty. So, there’s that…

Someone needs to tell Lisa that the red wave only happened in NY and FL. In FL because the party in blue had the weakest candidates on the ballot (Charlie Crist, ex-repubba was low hanging fruit for sure) in a long time except for Val Demings and there was a bright star: a kid named Maxwell Frost out of Orlando who will take her seat in congress by defeating a bunch of old establishment tools like Alan Grayson and Corrine Brown who are part of the washed up past that liberals need to move on from. In NY, I have read that people blame the loss of several blue congressional seats and possibly the house leadership to a Cuomo backlash, the NYC mayor putting his foot in his mouth by contradicting the governor, the governor kind of flip flopping between appeasing the progressives (the right thing to do) or sucking up to the meh vanilla right of center mayor (cost the house governor) and simply poorly run campaigns. Elsewhere sanity prevailed for the most part.

Did you happen to see the reason the judge shut down the forgiveness plan? I saw this coming from the day it ws passed, and I recognized it for the bait to get the “under 35” voters’ vote. Their brainwashed little minds saw only more entitlement for them. If you doubt this, please explain why the opportunity to apply was immediately shut down. Whatever else Biden is, he is experienced. Fifty years in DC has taught him the political art of tricking entire demographics.

Votes for the blue are votes for stagflation, a long recesssion, and increased crime. Enjoy. The judge followed the Constitution.

Criminy, Lisa. The more you show your anger the more you’ll hear, “Stick by to the Repub-tards.” Raise the conversation up a notch from the gutter it’s been in the past six years. Come up with some good ideas instead just complaining about Democratic ideas.

Have you overlooked who will be paying the bill if student loans are forgiven? It’s time for that age group to learn that when they pledge to pay back money it is their obligation to do so. If they don’t know it by then, it’s time they were taught.
