Isn’t courage when you are afraid, but face it anyway?

Evolution gave us fear so we could recognize dangers and situations to avoid. But as the meme says, “Fear is the mindkiller” ( Yes, I know it’s Frank Herbert) but we are to acknowledge at let it pass through us. Right now, we have created a situation where we need to face some fearsome aspects of ourselves and our world and need to use the courage we have to solve them.

But I can only insult and mock, so my opinion is nothing, right?

Courage is acting to benefit those around you in spite of fear. Cowardice is acting to benefit yourself instead of those around you, because of fear.

Addison DeWitt: You have a point. An idiotic one, but a point. (From All About Eve: screenplay by Joseph L. Mankiewicz based on a story by Mary Orr – 1950).

I’d like to think Winslow is channeling his inner Charlie Brown on this day of tributes to Charles Schulz. If not that, he’s channeling his inner Spud from “Wallace the Brave.”

Stanti, isn’t a good question whether so many of the fear mongering issues of the right-wing populists are proportionately valid?:
