I never thought of Pres. Biden as incoherent. Considering he had a very bad stutter when he was younger, I am impressed. Now sleazy45 is another story.

More republican TRASH. They say that Fetterman freeloaded for 49 years. He’s only 53 years old, so republicans are saying that that parents should charge room and board for infants and toddlers.. Talk about “so-called” family values…

If that’s the case they should join the Republican Party. Making sense is grounds for getting kicked out of office there.

The only thing that is coherent about the GOP is their drive to accumulate money and power. If language and principles must be destroyed to achieve them, so be it.

Here is a better issue: voter intimidation. I was just reading about how fringe lunatics are going around and trying to threaten and intimidate people into voting for Republican candidates. That is illegal and these people should be arrested. But your silence on the issue, as well as Trump’s plausible treason, speaks volumes. Remember silence speaks tacit approval. And the lack of addressing these issues in your cartoons means you are complicit and condone the fascism, the racism, the misogyny, the ageism, the sexism, the pure selfishness, the insecurity, the gullibility, as well as the sheer ignorance, stupidity, and cognitive dissonance and laziness exhibited by the Republican Party and its proponents.

COMPARATIVE CAMPAIGN SPEECH FROM 2016: “Look, having nuclear—my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart —you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world—it’s true!—but when you’re a conservative Republican they try—oh, do they do a number—that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune—you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged—but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me—it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right—who would have thought?), but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners—now it used to be three, now it’s four—but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years—but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us.”

It’s quite probable that a Conservative would not consider Biden’s achievements to be achievements because they benefit the working people, not the 1%ers. However, here’s a list of the highlights:

Biden signed a $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure package that passed with 13 Republicans who voted with the Democrats in favor of the bill.

This package increases investment in roads and bridges, renovates ports and public transportation, expands broadband access and replaces every lead pipe in the United States, among other initiatives. This bill brings jobs, jobs and more jobs, and it begins to rebuild our long-neglected infrastructure.

    • Biden signed a $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package in March 2021 that included up to $1,400 per person to financially struggling Americans, extended unemployment support and provided billions of dollars to help schools, colleges and universities reopen.

    • Biden put in place a $20 billion vaccination program to fight COVID. While 1% of the U.S. population was vaccinated when Biden came into office, 74% of Americans – 249 million Americans – have received at least one vaccine dose.

    • Biden expanded access to affordable health care for five million Americans.• Under Joe Biden, unemployment dropped to 3.9%; under Donald Trump, unemployment was 6.3%.

    • 6,000,000 jobs have been created already.

    • Jobless claims are the lowest since 1969.

    • The United States under Joe Biden is no longer denying science, but is once again a respected global leader in world affairs. We are doing our part to champion the health of our planet.

Biden has earned the respect of our European allies and he is coordinating a measured response to Vladimir Putin’s aggressive war on Ukraine while avoiding World War III. Best to you, Joe Biden! Thank you for your service.Margaret S Beekman

The people of Pennsylvania are going to be represented in the Senate by exactly what they deserve. If John Fetterman is one of the two finest political minds in state, everything I’ve ever heard about the state is true. Statesman such as Senator John Fetterman is a Democrats Democrat. One look into that face and I see the same strength I see in the faces of our Founding Fathers who met in Philadelphia so long ago. Fetterman truly represents the post 2020 Democrat Party, right on crime & punishment, right on illegal drugs, he understands the plight of the modern working man trying to balance a home, career, kids most of all paying the same Bills every joe six pack faces. Democrats surprise me with their choice in candidates, hard to believe Mr. Fetterman is the best they could find, yet here we are. He will win, that is truly sad.
