My family is considered weird by many standards. We raise/have raised different animals for food. Chickens, turkeys and rabbits. We divide them into two categories. Pets and food. We name and play with the breeding stock and eat the offspring (we do not name or play with them). We are a multigenerational farming family and have always been this way (working on generation 6).
