If Wally has a car and Val has a car, you can already go on a fun family outing together. It’s a bit snug, but the 5 people in each family unit (counting Grandma and her spouse) fit with no issue. You could not fit all 10 of them in a minivan or SUV.

I had a regular sized car for nearly 20 years and I loved that car, but I’m so glad I was driving a compact SUV when I clipped a deer about three weeks ago, because that deer would’ve ridden right up the hood and smashed into (and probably through) the driver’s side windshield of any regular sized car I’ve driven.

Economy cars are safer because of rollover issues with the SUVs. My sister used to own a Blazer and every time you took a big curve at highway speeds you just knew you were going over
