Strange spin. Farmers across the country are in need of farm workers, and immigrants are hungry for jobs. They have historically been critical to the success of large growers.

Whip them Nancy, that will teach them to head North.

Weren’t some of those migrants he shipped elsewhere in other states? Didn’t he use federal COVID relief money to do that? Now he’s begging for more federal money for hurricane relief when he voted in congress to block other states from getting hurricane relief money after Sandy.

Lickspittle Lack-luster Lester has memory problems.

Dr Oz and his family own the tree trimming business – Asplundh Tree Experts. They were recently fined by ICE $95 million for employing undocumented workers. Largest fine in ICE history. In Austin they have a contract with the city to trim branches near the power lines. Good luck finding an American who can/will climb 25’ up a tree with a chainsaw.

As a radically independent moderate, who votes for best candidates regardless of party, and as an older person, I have a long list of politicians I’d like see retired: Nancy, Donald, Mitch, Chuck, Joe, etc….

So, Lester, the workers want to work, and they get paid for it, and the Democrats offer them employment, somehow, that’s the same as slavery to you?

Good grief.

The Labor Department’s most recent National Agricultural Workers Survey reports that in 2017 and 2018, unauthorized immigrants accounted for 36 percent of crop workers hired by California farms.

I saw the video where she said that, and yep, the truth came out, she’s slipping a gear like old Joe.

Truth escapes her lips…..for once. I bet she wishes she had that little quip back!

And the idiots RWNJ’s can’t seem to understand that she just reported what farmers are actually saying. Somehow, in their little minds, that makes it her racist comment.

She’s not wrong. 75% of all farmworkers in this country are migrants. It’s been that way for decades. In fact the labor shortage we currently have can be attributed (in part) to the decline in immigration during Covid and Pres. Trump’s border closures. And it’s not just Agriculture, it’s everywhere. Mostly it’s the jobs behind the scenes. It’s the people in slaughterhouses. It’s the people in the back of the restaurants. It’s the people mopping the floors in hospitals and corporate offices.

It’s really true that immigrants do the jobs Americans don’t want to do.

And, it’s one of the causes of inflation. Without immigrants employers have to raise wages because Americans won’t work for what immigrants will accept. Higher wages are a contributing factor in inflation.

So howl all you want at Rep. Pelosi’s “racism”, but the ugly truth is that Florida and Texas’ economies would tank without immigrant labor. And politicians like Ron “Florida Man” DeSantis and Gov. Abbot know it.

Why does Lester claim “racism” is involved here? Another instance where “the end justifies the means?”

Curiously, no one has pointed out that, speaking of “racist,” it sure looks like all the field hands, at least the close ones, are black. Nothing racist there, huh?
