From yesterday’s comments to ƹʅɗʘ “ᶜᵃᵖᵖ ᵗᵃˢᵏᵉᵈ ᵒᶠ ʰᵉ” ɗ’ʘraɗʘ who asked about my book publisher’s site. “All 3 pages do’nt seem to provide Illustrator’s credit; that seems vital.”
There are no illustrations in my book. The cover was designed by my publisher, Ann, who is the author of Dog Island and Behind The Green Door. She didn’t illustrate it, though.
None of my 3 cats are snugglers, unlike all others I have had. They demand ear scritches, pets and brushing, but HATE being picked up and never get in my lap. Possibly because they were (tame) ferals?
LROS told me she posted a bit yesterday and I just went back to read it All of your purrs and thoughts must have worked.This is what happened:
The day after we got back, both of my knees were in SUCH horrible pain. I could barely walk. And, I had back pain up by my right shoulder; that bone up there. I went to urgent care on Fri evening and she sent me to ER. They did a sonogram on both legs but found no blood clots or anything else.
They gave me a shot of delaudanum for my back, which worked for about an hour. And that’s a pretty heavy duty drug.
The gave me percocet to bring home and an Rx to pick up. Sometime during last night, all of the pain in my knees left. Gone. No more pain.I will take the last percocet in a few minutes but will not take the onesfrom the pharmacy. That will tell me if the pills killed the pain. I’ll call myorthopedist in the morning for an appt. (the pain was like what I had before my knees replaced) There is no point in calling my GP because she’ll just tell me to call Dr Andruss anyway. I still have the back pain.
During all of that, I had terrible itching on my back and was using a back scratcher. In ER, the nurse asked what the scratches were from so I told him. Brad had told me my back was marked up but I thought he wasexaggerating. Yesterday, it stung when I took a shower so had him take a picture so I could see it. No wonder the nurse asked about it. The itching is gone, too. LROS said it looked like I was flogged. I was going to post it on imgur in case anyone wanted to see it but then thought I’d get complaints so I didn’t.
Yup, those sum up cats to a tee. Especially cuddly and mysterious. On another note, saw a Steller’s jay, a dragonfly, a squirrel, and five juncos while out walking today.
