So if we don’t know his usage of the term “flight” (and most don’t), we’re not in on the punchline? Sorry I’m so undereducated. Gotta be elite to understand these.
For those missing the joke, in my city (Vancouver) there are lots of craft breweries and microbreweries, and many of the local restaurants offer tasting samples where you can get 4 small glasses of 4 different beers (I’ve seen the same thing done with wines, even single malt scotches). It’s called a “flight” and they serve it up on a board like in the cartoon.
I got this and loved it. Good one, Mark, and doubly works with the season. I don’t go out that much, but I guess when I do, I like to go somewhere that has craft beers, so I’ve been familiar with the term “flight” for quite a few years now.

Not funny to me. I did not get the reference, having never been to some winery or whatever. I guess flight has different meaning.

Ironically, it’s alcohol flights that will give you “bloodshot” eyes.

@MarkParisi this is genius. I understand the Rh factor (+/-) would take too much space.

My wife and I have had wine tasting as a hobby for more than a decade. Mostly, it’s an excuse to get together with some good friends of ours.
Wine tasting is best done with friends.
Anyway, it was not until recently that i hard the term “flight.” Also, it was on the west coast. I’m not sure it’s made its way back east yet.

I like flights and enjoy trying different flavors: mimosas, wines, beers and are available in most restaurants.
