I note that a lot of the comments here saying that if you put your nose to the grindstone, work hard, go the extra mile, and exceed expectations that your path to promotion is smooth are being written by what appear to older people. I’m an “older people” too, and I got news for you – it may have been true once, but today’s business world isn’t the one we grew up in. Now it’s all on making the values of those shares rise, doing more with less, being lean and mean, and a bunch of similar mindless bizspeak jargon. It’s not that way anymore – except in PR videos.

When they get them lined up and standing at attention, what are they going to use for weapons? The Russian troop who dropped their weapons, changed their clothes and scooted, left everything behind! Tanks, personnel carriers, ammunition, guns, everything… Those weapons are now being refurbished and used by the Ukrainians.Maybe the Russians are just going to use human wave tactics?
