I have no idea what, if anything, will come of this. But I can certainly hope that this is the death that tips the scales back toward civility.

Every country (and even the bible) finds a way to devalue women, some more drastic than others.

Remember Taliban 1.0, when they were flogging women, not allowing them medical care, requiring them to paint their windows black, not allowing them to travel without a male escort, etc. The world went “tsk, tsk”.

Then they decided to blow up some ancient statues. The world went ballistic: these are historical works of art!

Rocks 1, women zero.

Sad!

Iran has an ancient, multi-national, eclectic, culture. I hope that these current events lead to a return of that open, vibrant version of itself.

Its a Beautiful Thing !

Morality Police in Iran telling women what they can’t do. Sounds familiar in the USA.

Other Islamic fundamentalist nations are closely watching the Iran events and perhaps quaking in their boots.

Don’t cut off the hair, cut off the hand.

Lets hope we dont turn out backs on them like we did to the green revolution for that sake of a “deal”

The mullahs are about to find out that you don’t PO your women. The Republicans in the US may also be about to find that out.

Women should not die because they showed a few locks of hair. That is only logical. Women should have the sole control over their bodies and themselves. That is heresy to the Taliban and the many false Christian Americans and that is why there is no difference between those two groups whatsoever

The current crop of Muslim leaders treat women like property/cattle. This is not in the Quran.
