I frequently find myself thinking that MAGAts can’t go any lower… they are already scraping the bottom of the barrel. Then they pull something like this and I realize that they have driven through the bottom of the barrel and are happily negotiating the cesspool beneath.

I understand that this loathsome effort, a modern day version of the Reverse Freedom rides from the 1960s, to get one over on the libs was first conceived by none other than the Mango Mistake’s right-hand man, Steven Miller. However, despite the fact that Dump was all for it, they decided it would engender too much negative feedback, so they canned it.

“We want to make sure that taxpayers are not having to foot tens of thousands, or thousands of people, coming in illegally,” (DeSantis). The feds are footing the bills for these folk, not the states complaining about them. Also, many of these folk are seeking asylum and haven’t entered the U.S. illegally.

We need to stop asking, “How low can they go?” They are not stopping and are considering it a challenge.

Actual despotic regimes from OUTSIDE the U.S. are preferable to Texas and Florida.

This lust for power just amazes me at times. To actually use other humans as pawns for political gain… I do believe Jesus weeps.

Right, Texas and Florida is so horrible to send illegal aliens to places that say they want them, who then in turn send them somewhere else.

Unfortunately, this is an extreme example of how we deal with a lot of problems — we dump them over a hedge, a wall, a border. Then it’s someone else’s problem.

Growing up in a small Midwest town in the 60s, I noticed that the way we got rid of ‘undesirables’ was to run them out of town. After all, why waste taxpayer money prosecuting a pedophile? It would be very expensive as well as embarrassing for one of the leading families. It didn’t stop his behavior or save his next victims; but, hey, it wasn’t the town’s problem anymore.

What did we do with our banned pesticides, etc.? Shipped them to third world countries until we got caught. What do we do with our garbage? Our plastics? Our industrial waste? We build mountains out of part of it [far away from nice neighborhoods], we dump a lot in the ocean, and we used to ship it to third world countries to deal with until they wised up and refused to accept it.

This political stunt is a repellant example of this mindset. And, as inhumane and outrageous as the actions of Abbot and Costello [excuse me, DeSantis] are, they weren’t even original — mere copies of the reverse freedom rides of years past. I can’t figure out if they thought up the idea together over a few beers or if they are each trying to out-trump the other, jockeying for presidential candidacy. I wonder what it would actually be costing them (actually, costing the American taxpayer) if they had processed these immigrants properly. Now Texas has a few fewer immigrants to process, so his funding for doing so should be reduced. Maybe that’s why DeSantis used Texas immigrants — he didn’t want to lose that income.

I had to LOL my butt off this morning.

Ted Cruz on Hannity, actually stated that it was illegal to bus these folks around. ROFLMAO!

Of course, it WOULD be, if they were illegal entries.

And, of course since neither DeSantis nor Abbott are complete idiots, they aren’t. They are legal entries, who are ASKED if they want a free trip out of Texas. And of course, anyone who can get out and doesn’t have a cushy job wants out, Abbott has turned Texas into something little better than the war zones these refugees fled from. So they accept.

As, again of course, they themselves have stated on multiple interviews.

So what does all that mean? It means that Ted Cruz, the Canadian wonder boy, is so stupid he actually believes the BS fed to the Qub base. OMG! He’s a MUCH bigger fool than I thought he was!

Abbot and DeSantis are not Native American names. The people they count as their family came her as immigrants. DeSantis’s family came here from Italy, penniless, escaping oppression, hoping to find a better life. Thanks to the America they arrived in, they were able to achieve the American dream, and their descendant, Ron DeSantis is living proof that promise was kept. So why is Ron DeSantis, hoping to be a candidate for president, so angry and down on immigrants? Is it all because they don’t come from Italy? Is it because out country is “full” as 45 claimed? Is it because they are not white christian nationalists? Why?

We actually need about 2 million immigrants a year to sustain our economy. Have you heard about the shortage of workers? Yes, many of those jobs are exactly the jobs immigrant workers, hoping for a better life, would fill.

Will Texas and Florida be equally willing to fly their legal citizens wherever they want to find jobs and get the heck out of Texas and Florida? I’m sure there are a lot of citizens who would like a better life, but can’t afford to leave.

I find it odd that the trumpists find it funny to dump people on VP Harris’ doorstep when they fumed about protesters in front of the SC judges houses. Hypocrisy is not a good look.
