There’s a back story to today’s strip. The cats are real estate developers that have made an offer to buy Poncho’s cherry orchard. Although Poncho is in debt, he refuses to sell his orchard because he has buried all his bones in the soil amongst the trees. Tomorrow Poncho will make a reference to Dostoevsky and will tell Raskolnikov to get real and get a life.

Sort of a literary reach for a good cat attack squirt, but I’ll take it.

I used spray my two dogs, they ran away but always came back for another squirt or two! They also loved to dragged the hose around yard!

Poncho is naughtier than the cats, so he should get the hose.
