Brothers son-in-law cousin is getting married on an island – those invited are expected to pay their own way and all gifting is done on-line. The flight is $3,000 / the hotel is $359/night for 5 nights and the average meal cost is just over $120. They invited around 100 couples. Family is expected to be there…

In spite of the sound, “licha” is apparently not Spanish for English “leech”. But maybe “Spanglish” slang?
