The transition from sleep to wakefulness is harder for some of us than others. Maybe something wonderful will happen for you today. If not, remember your lesson from earlier in the summer. You are enough!

Don’t hate yourself in the morning — sleep till noon.

Morning has broken…somebody fix it

Morning people are respected – night people are feared.

Mornings should be taken out and shot at dawn.

That was my mantra when I was working.

I could do 7am. I am up most work days at 5:50 am. I hate it! It’s dark out no matter the time of year.

Alarm clocks are a neccessary evil that we tolerate, b/c they allow us to enjoy the other more fun neccessaries of life; food, shelter, transportation, etc. But, they’re also expendable, once you retire. Thank God!

Shouldn’t you be GLAD that you woke up? That did NOT happen to a lot of people today!

Why is this comic different on Instagram—there, the last panel is “I sad”, NOT “I hate”?????

I gain no joy from being unconscious, I gain no joy from falling asleep, however, I like lying in bed

I love sleep so much that I enjoy general anesthesia. Seriously, I feel great when I wake up. I just had major surgery. Morphine may play a part, but even without morphine, I wake up rested.

That said hate yesterday now says sad prev day not the hate one.

Has anyone noticed the last panel is switching between “I sad” and “I hate”?!

I relate to this a lot except on those days when you wake up completely refreshed and nothing can get you down and you feel like you could take on the world single-handedly.

Got the new book yesterday. I love it! Full of honest to pete Cat & Pals, being just who they are!!! Fun, funny, uplifting. Wonderful book!!!

My new Cat’s Cafe book arrived! It’s called One Cup at a Time. I’m trying to read it slowly to make it last.

I haven’t seen one of these in about a year so good to be back :DI love the joy of being back and getting to catch up on comics!
