Trumper MAGA “Republican” extremists (differentiated from traditional Republican conservatives who are wrong on issues but at least try to be rational) talk about “small government” or “getting the government off our backs,” but in reality they want to dictate control over every aspect of our private lives

Trumper MAGA “Republican” extremists want to micromanage your private medical choices (reproductive choices such as abortion or contraception, medical marijuana, end of life choices, stem cell therapies, gender-identity care), private relationships (dictate who you can or can’t marry or even what behavior is allowed behind closed doors), tell us what books we or our children can have access to, or try to force PRIVATE religion into PUBLIC policy and religious rituals into public meetings or subsidize it with special tax advantages (socialized religion).

The only ways in which Trumper MAGA “Republican” extremists want to “get the government off our backs,” is that they want government to be hands-off in letting corporate thugs run roughshod over the rights of workers, consumers and our shared environment, and they want to ensure that no reasonable public safety oversight is ever enacted that might prevent any terrorist, convicted violent felon, violent domestic abuser from being able to easily obtain any firearms including those whose sole purpose is to kill as many human beings as possible in the shortest possible period of time.

It is PROgressive Democrats who stand up for INDIVIDUAL PERSONAL FREEDOM to live the way you want and getting Big Intrusive Government out of our bedrooms and personal lives.

If the republicans had their way, the political climate would go back to the way it was, in the antebellum south.

Republicans want guns in schools and books out. Weird.

The only ones who should be banned are the assault weapon and the MAGAt. I don’t know how to do the latter, alas.

The assault style weapon symbolizes America and sadly not in a good way.

Let us remember that the coroners in Uvalde had to use family-member DNA and the patterns of clothing to be able to identify the kids killed in their classrooms. Dental records? Not enough teeth, not enough intact faces…..

The GOP is all about canceling anyone and anything they don’t like.

No reason to ban anything in America, just because you are frightened by and are ignorant of. Anything in that toon can be scary if you have never been near one.
