I only watched the first few seasons. I remember wondering why it never occurred to any of the contestants, after the first season, to actually do some research and LEARN how to make fire without modern tools.
Real surviving is when they throw 15 guys and 15 girls on an island, no food, no tv, no showers, no cameras. Hide 4 knifes and comes back in 6 months. The one’s alive win.
