I like the message but it would be better if the messenger was a true progressive like Liz or Bernie instead of the individual who gave it. Banker Joe has cut too many deals with the devil over his career such as NAFTA, the bankruptcy “reform” of 2005 which helped his DE financial institutions bone people who they should have never given been credit lines or student loans to in the first place (AKA predatory lending), not all in on a living wage (sure as hell did not fight for $15/hour minimum wage mandate and his DE senator buddies were 2 of 10 DINOs who voted no when Bernie forced the issue), generally being a meh/right of center corporate tool, voting for the war in Iraq, etc… Joe is the picture of mediocrity, better than what we had previously but America deserves so much better than Banker Joe or Kamala.

(In Indiana you chose your party ballot during the primary election.)

MAGA Extreme Platform…Secure borders, Fair elections, Energy independence, Tough on crime, Save babies, Stop genital mutilation of kids, Put parents first, School choice, Protect constitutional rights and Put America first. Meanwhile it’s democrats killing people on the streets, carjacking, robbing people, beating innocent people. 32 of 36 cities with sky high crime are run by democrats. Hmmmmm. What conclusion can we draw from that?

When the FBI conducted the legal search of Mar a Lago, after obtaining a search warrant, trump posted about it on his social media. The Justice Department and FBI didn’t advertise the search. Bottom line, trump wanted to use the search as a fundraising ploy to fleece the magas yet again. It worked. These poor, mentally ill sycophants ponied up thousands of dollars to trump.

Ultimate, dictatorial power is what trump and the maga republicans want. To heck with asking for money, trump wants the nation to be forced to pay tribute to him.

The soul of the nation has never been in greater peril.

Since he thinks Putin is a strong leader we should look up to, I wonder if Trump wishes he could have critics thrown out of windows high up in buildings. That happened once again in Russia to a billionaire who dared speak out. That and poisonings show it’s dangerous to be a critic of a strong leader.

How ’bout we break “loyalty” down to its simplest form?

Democrats consistently disagree among themselves. Many hope Biden won’t run again in 2024. No one is threatened for doing so.

GOP must consistently obey the every whim of Trump. If not, you’re a pariah, ostracized and threatened.

Now, which one has the totalitarian tendencies?

Please excuse the repost: Here’s the Republican “platform.” They won’t write it down because too many voters might read it, so I did it for them.

Despite being in the minority, members of the SCOTUS, “Conservatives,” RWNJs, and white supremacists are attempting to drag this country back to their imaginary Jeffersonian agrarian idyl. The 1790 census (when Jefferson was Secretary of State), counted 5.3M Americans. Only white males owning 50 acres or more of land were permitted to vote, approximately 6% of the population. Free white men who did not own land, free white females, and slaves could not vote.

In 1790 the American population was largely rural, making a living by farming. Our most recent census counted 332,403,650 Americans. Current estimates are that 83% of Americans live in urban areas. They do not work at farming.

In pursuit of “small government,” the following are conservatives’ goals for their Jeffersonian America: 1. No women’s rights. 2. No civil rights for people of color, or for any other minority groups. 3. No immigration, other than Caucasians. 4. No labor unions. 5. No health insurance. 6. No legal recourse due to Republican-packed courts. 7. No social security. 8. No disability insurance. 9. No minimum wage. 10. No free and fair elections (ultimately, no elections). 11. Imposed state religion; government funding of religious schools. 12. Unregulated militias unchecked by Republican-packed courts. 13. No work on mitigating climate change; no environmental protections. 14. No free press.

GOP politicians don’t care about the environment or mitigating climate change because they intend to stay permanently in office and use their money and power to take over remaining livable locations as environmental conditions worsen. Republican leaders don’t care if America dies as long as they can feed off the carcass for their lifetimes.

    Republican “Platform” continued…

How many Americans would have to die or be virtually enslaved in jobs with less than living wages for this “platform” to work? Why do you people who support today’s GOP, Trump, and Trump wannabes think that you will come out winners under this regime?

The Democrats stopped asking for money now they can just take through ‘taxes’. 87K new IRS agents, more than doubling the agency. The lower and middle class can stand by because the IRS has already been weaponized to target people who do not actively or financially support the Democrats.

Congratulations. We now live in a banana republic.

What Brandon tried to pull Thursday night was a last gasp attempt to demonize All Republicans prior to the kick off of election season, Friday after seeing the numbers on that horror of a speech tried walking back his comments. I watched every second of his spew on CNN because the networks wouldn’t run it, he is lucky most Americans didn’t see it live. The next sixty days will be full of this imagery from Democrats desperate to stop what’s coming, like most unpleasant things the worry is almost worse than the real thing. I think 81 million Sig Heil Brandon voters are waiting for a fully conscious colonoscopies come November and they will stop at nothing to miss that appointment. Old Joe started drinking that gallon of “lemonade” last Thursday.

With the continued rantings of a small (albeit noisy) minority of hard core MAGA voters over the Mar a Lago raid, the red wave is looking more like a ripple. It all boils down, though, to turnout in November. Many, if not most, MAGA voters will crawl over broken glass to vote. But if Democrats, moderate Republicans, and independent swing voters turn out with intensity, the Democrats could well expand their majority in the Senate by a couple of seats. The GOP is still expected to gain a majority (albeit a slim one) in the House, but I am cautiously optimistic that this midterm will be the first one since 2002 when the party in the White House gained seats in both houses of Congress instead of losing them. but we’ll see.
