Assuming the dinner party’s hostess and the guests themselves are into fish… I do like to eat fish, but not so much as going to catch them via line and hook with bait.

That’s a poor and way-out-in-the-country sort of plugger.

What is called living off the land ….

You’re a Plugger if the catch in the Old Clay Hole you fished as a kid is now polluted and toxic.

Nah ! Your only guest will be fellow fishermen.
