^ How can she land on her feet when she doesn’t even realize what just hit her? The Dems set her up to sit at the feet of power, at the right hand of Her Nibs Pelosi during the Jan 6 circus show. Next, the Dems organized a cross-party voter swamp in Wyoming, where that sort of thing is permitted. None of this happened by accident. The DNC orchestrated it simply to decrement the Republican majority after the November Red Tidal Wave by one seat.
Kneeling down and kissing the feet of a Manhattan real estate hustler tells me everything I need to know about the people of Wyoming. Looks like there’s more sheep in Wyoming than cows.
Liz Cheney is a sacrifice on the alter of Trumpism. I don’t like her politics, nut I respect that she was willing to lose to make a stand.
What many of the commentors here don’t seem to grasp is that theirs is an extreme position. Maybe a third of the country supports it. The other two thirds will not put up with you for long. It’s not a left vs right anymore, it’s people who believe in the US and people who believe the ends justify the means.
Though I had my troubles with her father, Dick Cheney, I admire Liz for being the true Repub of years past and as a stateswoman for all time. She may take a bad fall from the bucking bronc of the Wyoming Repub primary, she will rise up and history will praise her for her endeavors for truth.
I will say this for Liz Cheney: She was wrong about all but one thing, but that one thing was the most important thing. And she gave up more than most to try to save it.
Liz Cheney was defeated, as expected. I would not frame it as her losing. It is a loss for Wyoming, the Republican Party, and the nation.
Cheney has won the general election for dignity, a race in which none of her GOP colleagues could even compete.
Over and over, the Republican party shows us that power is more important than truth, democracy, or the American experiment. They are seemingly proud of this, and preen about it in plain sight.
It is crushing to see alleged adults act that way. I fear for our country’s future.
The best thing Mr. Biden could do for America is to provide free crash courses in Hungarian, and free one-way transportation (and even some spending money…I’d be okay with that) for anyone who wants that kind of society.
Although Mr. Orban might not like American refugees, calling them a “swarm” or an “invasion”. And he certainly won’t like it if some of those people are not WASPs.
Never cared much for her Dad, but her, I like. Not that I would vote for her, but her country was more important than her office, and that makes her superior to many in her party.
Proof that the Republican Party has turned into a cult. Not the party I joined when I was 18. They are doing the best to ensure I never vote red again.
Ms. Benson, Liz Cheney knew what was coming when she decided to run towards the enemy and take the battle to them. The surprised look you drew is a true disservice to her bravery.
Her opponent supports the BIG LIE! (How ironic that Liz’s dad was part of the chain of lies that led to this.)We need more people like Liz Cheney. Will we get them?
Liz Cheney has never actually lived in Wyoming. Oh, she did for a couple of years in grade school, but since that time, including now, her primary residence has been Virginia. Same game plan as Al Gore, who has never actually lived in Tennessee. Both of these fools follow the game plan of crooked fathers .

After the beatdown she just took, she compared herself to Lincoln and is hinting at higher office (i.e. POTUS).
Isn’t that like getting cut from your high school basketball team and then declaring for the NBA draft and claiming you’re the next Larry Bird?
