The pseudo-christians who believe that women should not have the right to bodily integrity have had their plans overturned, but that’s not really a kicked butt. The SCC (Supreme Christian Court) ruling means that the wrong whingers can keep trying every time they think they have enough money to push their agenda… again… on the voters.
Don’t tease the Conservative gorilla in its cage unless you’re sure all the doors are securely shut. If not, much face can be lost to its chimp followers.
L. Frank Baum was always ahead of the curve. Let’s not forget that he actually had a TRANS character in an Oz book published in 1904! (Tip/Ozma). I have no doubt Glinda would support this message…
Keep in mind Mitch McConnell and the GQP have said if they get power back they will work to ban abortion in every case in all 50 states, no exceptions.
I think we can be pretty sure that the outcome was not at all what was expected by those putting it on the ballet. It will be interesting to see how the Kansas legislature handles the result. And, it is now probably unlikely it will be on any other state’s ballot – we certainly wouldn’t want the people to have a say – it risks contradicting what the dark money funders want. How very awkward.

The media have been blaring about “women” voting on this issue, but I do hope that the winning 60% included a great many men.
I know that I — and all of my male friends — would have voted NO on that Amendment if we had been Kansas voters.

One thing for sure, the red Neo-Nazi Legislatures will make sure this issue never makes it to a vote of the people again.

This is what happens when the PEOPLE decide, instead of the legislators.

Christians are realizing their religion doesn’t have power over women and their right to bodily autonomy.

LOVE Glinda’s sign. That needs to happen NATIONWIDE in ALL ELECTIONS, until the scourge of Republicanism is removed from America Forever!
