    Howdy Vagabonds

Well, it finally did it, 31 degrees this morning for the first time this fall. There is also fog down in the valley. The sky goes from partly cloudy to a mix of clouds and sun, And a pleasant high of 61. (^.^)

Good old Ian was not expected to become a huricane again but, it did. Catagory 1 headed in to SC, OK, so I thought it was Georgia.

It’s shopping day (yah-hoo) I’ll be getting my list together soon, is it friday already? (O.O)

While I’m Newport/Derby bound may you all have a beautiful day and may God bless.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Everything worked out well yesterday. The housekeepers came early so the house was still pretty hot from leaving the AC off for a while. They didn’t complain though and I did apologize and turn it back on. Even when the room is still warm, the cold air blowing on you from the vents helps a lot as does a bottle of cold water.

Nothing much on the agenda for today. We’ve been binge-watching “Longmire” on Netflix for the past week or so. And I do mean binge-watching. We’ll watch 6 to 8 episodes every day. It’s set in Wyoming and is about a county sheriff named Walt Longmire and his deputies and friends. It was on A&E for three seasons and then Netflix took over for another three seasons when A&E cancelled it. It was based on a series of books written by Craig Johnson. We’ve both read all of the books too.

We got up to 97 yesterday which was the forecast. Today we’re looking at 98. I’m ready for it to get better any time now.

Everyone have a safe and blessed day.

    Good evening, Vagabonds.

I feel like I have been busy all week and accomplished very little. Sunday was a great day at church, a good Bible study and a good message from Psalms 119. Tuesday I left my husband at home and had a wonderful lunch with my youngest daughter. What fun! Wednesday was the regular shopping at Walmart and doing laundry. Thursday the family came over for dinner. I told them to enjoy as it would be a while before our table would see another roast beef dinner.

With the weather being so nice my friend and I decided that today would be Adventure Friday. We stopped at Sonic and got our favorite hot dog combos then picked a road and went down it. I never knew we had so many roads with out any kind of signage! We found ourselves on three different roads without ever making a turn. We finally made our way back to a main road and home. It was fun.

The weather has felt downright cold after being in the upper 90’s all summer. This morning it was 39 and our high was only 72. Basically our temperature range for the last week. Next week is predicted to be warmer. We shall see.

And that pretty much catches me up for the week.

May you all enjoy a peaceful evening.
