@Number Three , Today’s strip IS funny , our HERO Mr Andrew Capp’s ways of avoiding the Vicar are classic :o) my avatar is a spoof of what Lego blocks percentages are , mine is the larger one stepping on one on my way to the bathroom, how was your day? our Manic Monday Should be a little busy but we will cope I hope Keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady, when is your next date for giving a pint of your lifesaving blood
I have sometimes mentioned Buster Comic which took it’s name from a character inspired by Andy Capp and who was billed for two separate periods as “Buster – Son of Andy Capp”. I have also mentioned Monster Fun Comic which merged with Buster to form Buster and Monster Fun Comic on 6 November 1976 which meant that the last issue of the original Monster Fun was dated 30 October 1976 – the day before Halloween.
I see from a columnist in today’s Daily Mirror that there is a new version of Monster Fun Comic in the shops and it is aimed at children of around eight to thirteen. I was aged eight and nine when I read the original Monster Fun Comic in 1975-6 and turned ten in December.
Who knew our boy Andy was such an accomplished escape artist. I guess it stands to reason though considering he has been very successful at avoiding responsibilities all his life.
Sorry I wasn’t here on Friday. But I’m back now! She has returned.
I wish I had Lego when I was a kid. I always thought it was for boys. Anyway I’m sure my Dad would go mad if I left it everywhere. Haha. He doesn’t like clutter and I’m the same to be honest.
I haven’t yet made an appointment to make another donation of my lifesaving blood, I usually make one when I get the text saying which hospital it’s gone to. It’ll be sometime in December when I do it again. Thank you for your support! Do you have any idea what your blood group is? I’m O+ and so is Eldo and Number Six. I believe Gweedo is O-
O- is actually the best one to have. So now I’m insanely jealous. Haha.
Stay safe, stay well, stay cool and stay happy, pal.

Andy is Ale-ing. But the spiritual uplifting that he wants comes in pints at the Pub.

Andy can be physically adept. He seems to survive numerous canal trips well.

Can’t say as I blame Andy, it’s either that or listen to a sermon about the evils he’s so endeared to.

Now that the vicar has arrived, Andy’s checking to see if there’s holy water around the house in case it’s needed.

Andy obviously doesn’t want to get nagged at by the Vicar. By the way, whoever colors this comic must like purple a lot.

The Vicar is always an inspiration for Andy.
