A long time ago, probably about 10 years or so, there used to be some articles showing how the net worth of many congress critters’ personal net worth blossomed tremendously during their years in Congress. Pelosi has been one of them.

We also used to have some ethics laws that prevented this…….Congress later repealed significant portions of the law.

They’re all slimy reprobates – regardless of their party.

Stories in the Wall Street Journal, especially on its front page, do not qualify as “inside information.”

Remember in Nov 2019 when Trump told his buddies about covid and they all bought and sold stocks based on that?

And then lying traitor Trump denied publicly that covid was a problem and helped to spread it around resulting in the deaths of a million Americans.

Trump and Repubs put together a tax cut in 2017 that benefited the wealthy and corporations. Ron Johnson of WI refused to vote for it until a deduction for “pass through” companies was added which padded his wealth as well as his donors. Johnson’s wealth has DOUBLED since he was first elected in 2011.

The ability of Congress to get away with insider trading needs to be stopped. But let’s look at reality, not just RW bias.

It’s estimated that the Pelosi’s wealth is now in the neighborhood of $100 million. I wonder how it got so large. Her salary is $223,500. Hmmmm.

How about " Didn’t get cut into Jared Kushners Saudi payoff he negotiated while working for the Citizens of the US"

It has never been illegal for congress to invest in the stock market. It should be, it is not. If you really wan to go down that rat hole we can list member of both parties that make millions off of sweetheart deals.

The fact that you want to focus on Pelosi shows your bias.

Kushner on the other hand WAS bound by law not to make the same deals Why not focus on that which is illegal instead of just immoral. You surprise no one when you focus on your favorite political enemy?

The member of Congress that made the most from the stock market was a Republican.

    Here is the list:
