Since there were about 1,700 deaths from the European heatwave so far as of two days ago its probably more like 2,000 by now. Deniers will still claim the earth is flat, the sun revolves around the earth, and that climate change isn’t real. They do their “research” while sitting on the capper and cannot tell you the difference between weather and climate. And they might as well think that the moon la Ding was faked.
My reaction to all of that would probably be close to that of Buzz Aldrin.
Rush Limbaugh fought against the notion of climate change calling it a hoax, etc. and many of his listeners believed (because they wanted to). Limbaugh was correct in one thing, he did not live long enough for climate change / global warming to effect him or his livelihood.
Accurate weather data is available for less that 100 years. Planet earth has been here approximately 4.8 billions years. There was an ice age ten thousand years ago. Greenland was being farmed 1000 years ago. Humans didn`t cause it then and are not causing it now. Accept each day and deal with it the best you can.
