It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the cat on the bed. ;)

This applies to both cats and dogs.

This is so funny. My late loving wife and I had 2 Chihuahua’s who seemed like they took over our King sized bed. We finally got the female to sleep on a pillow at the head of the bed, but the male like to sleep in between us. We also had a Catahoula Leopard dog who thought he was a lap dog and was always sitting between my legs in my recliner with me. Sadly they are all gone also.

This made me laugh out loud. Great way to start the day! (We have 4 cats (long story), two think they own our bed — one is right now standing between the keyboard and monitor as I try to type this..)

Cats do have expansion joints. The principle seems to be the same as the one where your stuff multiplies to take up any new closet space.

Correct. My mom’s Rottweilers were the world’s biggest lapdogs and bed hogs.

Yep. Our Lab/Newfies think they are the smallest things.

Imagine, if you will, a Great Dane who thinks he is a lap dog. The struggle is real…
