I feel sorry for all those people who cannot appreciate the earthy smell of horse or cow manure. They only know “it stinks”.

What “stinks” is mucking out all the stalls in a day. Because you put it off instead of doing one a day.

You smell things because you inhale little microscopic bits of it and those little bits land on sense organs in your nose. Remember that the next time you are in a stable.
